Eagles blow it

The Eagles have been overrun by the Magpies in the final quarter, to lose by eight points, leaving their finals hopes hanging by a thread.

West Coast lead by 24 points early in the final quarter but Collingwood stormed home kicking the last four goals to snatch the win.

Josh Kennedy kicked six goals in his 200th AFL game but midfielder Luke Shuey admits West Coast “lacked the will to win”.

Adam Simpson wore plenty of criticism for the loss from 6PR listeners. The Eagles coach heavily disappointed with the result.

It’s the fifth time this season the Eagles have lost a game by less than two goals.
