Dockers Snatch Win From Tigers
The Fremantle Dockers have snatched a win from the Tigers thanks to a David Mundy goal in the final minute to give the visitors a four-point lead when it counted, finishing the game 10.18 (78) to 12.10 (82) at the MCG on Saturday.
In a scrappy, but tight contest, emotions boiled over on many occasions with the Tigers leading for most of the game.
In the third quarter nothing was going right for the Dockers as Clancee Pearce injured his shoulder only moments after Fremantle had subbed out Matt Taberner, but after a long coaches talk at three quarter time, the Dockers found their feet again.
Mundy kicked the winning goal and was the leading disposal winner for Fremantle with 28, while Richmond’s Brandon Ellis topped the list with 31 disposals.
