Despite a relatively short five years’ experience, Australian Cassiel Rousseau has shocked the diving world in winning gold in the men’s 10m platform event at the World Aquatics Championships.

The 22-year-old told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons he’s had to remain committed throughout a very demanding training schedule.

“The Chinese team gets funded, so they just focus on diving; it’s been a challenge to fit everything in,” Mr Rousseau said.
