Commuters are reminded to prepare for delays ahead of the Mandurah Line shutdown.

Tracks will be closed between the Aubin Grove and Elizabeth Quay stations from December 26 to January 14.

During that time, essential works will be underway as part of Metronet’s Thornlie-Cockburn Link project.

David Hynes from the Public Transport Authority told Mark Gibson replacement buses will be in place.

“That little section of the line will add about 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions, to your journey if you’re going all the way to Perth.”
