Domain has released the 2023 End Of Year Wrap, laying out all of the numbers behind Perth’s explosive property growth and underlining the ongoing issues affecting affordability into the new year.

Meanwhile Perth’s median house price hit $724,000, a record number that hasn’t yet reached a peak, according to Domain’s chief of Research and Economics Nicola Powell.

“It continued to smash new record highs in terms of price, and has ended the year at another new record high,” Dr Powell told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast.

A number of suburbs pipped the post in being the quickest-selling, including a few surprising areas that are seeing selling times of around eight days.
