The City of Perth Council is in disarray, with Perth Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi claiming there is a witch hunt underway to see her ousted.

Ms Scaffidi was compared to North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un in The West Australian newspaper today, after it was revealed councillors were asked to sign a statutory declaration to say they didn’t leak information to a journalist.

LISTEN: Ms Scaffidi told The Morning Show’s Gareth Parker she was not responsible for the statutory declaration.

Ms Scaffidi named her Deputy Lord Mayor, James Limnios, as one of two council members who she believed may have leaked information to a journalist.
