Gina Rinehart’s Hancock Prospecting has confirmed it has become a substantial shareholder in Liontown Resources Limited.

In a statement released by Hancock, the company confirmed it had purchased 7.72 per cent share in Liontown Resources Limited which saw their share price rise 15 per cent over the last week.

Liontown is the owner of the Kathleen Valley lithium project in WA – a developing high-quality hard-rock lithium deposit.
