Mathematician Stefan Mendel says he has developed a “hack” using simple mathematics to ensure lottery victory, but how true is the process?

Associate Professor of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Technology Sydney Stephen Woodcock told Juli-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons Mendel’s method is about as basic as you can get.

“The brilliance of it was almost in its lack of brilliance,” Professor Woodcock said.
