Taxi drivers are weighing up whether or not to continue working in certain regional centres after a Bunbury taxi driver was forced to make his own way to Fiona Stanley Hospital following a vicious assault and robbery.

Yawinder Singh Gill told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast the attack had left him with serious injuries which would limit his ability to work for months.

“It’s not safe anymore; mentally, it scares me. I don’t know if I want to drive taxis anymore,” Mr Singh Gill said.
