The BBL season is only a week away and the Perth Scorchers start their campaign with an away game against the Sydney Sixers, but Ashton Agar has been putting in some extra yards to prepare for the Big Bash.

Agar joined the Australian team’s coaching session on Tuesday evening and got a change to bowl against David Warner.

“I did and it wasn’t a fun experience, he’s in serious form,” Agar told 6PR Breakfast.
“At one stage he clipped a ball through mid wicket and said ‘I think the only way I’m getting out is if I get myself out here’. So that’s a pretty good indication that your batters are in good touch.”
