He’s known for bringing the beauty of classical music to a mainstream audience and soon Andre Rieu will bring his world-class orchestra back to our shores – and he couldn’t be happier.

‘Your beautiful new arena, we played there once when it was just finished because I heard stories that it was a lot of trouble to build it, but it’s one of the most beautiful arenas I ever saw – and it sounds beautiful,’ he told 6PR’s Chris Ilsley.

‘I think everyone has a good seat in that arena from what I remember, it’s very well-built.’

Perth will be the last stop on Rieu’s Australian tour, with the concert at Perth Arena scheduled for Thursday 3 November. Tickets are available through Ticketek.
