6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont watched in disbelief as a reckless motorcyclist rode dangerously through the heart of Rockingham on a Saturday lunchtime, reportedly on one of the most powerful bikes legally available in Australia.

Metropolitan Region Commander Quinton Flatman told Beaumont that, although police did not catch the rider at the alleged high speeds he witnessed, the rider was charged with operating an unlicensed, high-powered machine while suspended and without a helmet.

“You would have to be under a rock, for all of us not to see the amount of very sad carnage that’s occurring on our road, that someone would actually undertake this behaviour”, he said.
