Airbnb’s new policy will ban the use of indoor security cameras in its listings globally.

Law Professor at the University of South Australia Rick Sarre joined Oliver Peterson on Perth Live to discuss Airbnb’s new security camera policy.

“Bottom line is, while you are being observed, you lose all privacy, and if you’re being told about those cameras you have to accept them. So Airbnb are simply saying, let’s not go through the brouhaha, let’s just get rid of them once and for all,” Mr Sarre said.

“I think it’s entirely appropriate.”
