The Financial Review has published it’s annual rich women list, and has revealed that Australia’s 75 richest women now control more than 151 billion dollars.

Rich List editor at AFR Yolanda Redrup told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons that, ‘Women are a little bit less likely to want to celebrate their success, but hopefully that will change, and inspire a new generation of founders.”

“When you look at the breakdown of the sectors where the women on the list are from it strongly skews towards, resources, technology and retail in particular,” Ms Redrup said.
