Perth’s rental crisis continues to bite with some international students forced to live in homeless shelters while waiting for accommodation.

Study Perth CEO Derryn Belford told 6PR Afternoons she is not surprised.

“Most of the student accommodation is full because we’ve got so many students wanting to come here,” said Ms Belford.

“It’s not an easy problem to solve.”
