The Mayor of the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is calling on local businesses to close next Thursday to allow workers to attend the Hannans Handicap.

City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Mayor John Bowler told Mark Gibson traditionally businesses in the Goldfields closed at midday for ladies day, something he’d like to see return.
