Perth school rethinking reports to focus on student’s personal development as well as grades

A private school is changing the way it carries out reports to better reflect a student’s personal development and how they’re performing over time.

Guildford Grammar Preparatory School will continue to issue grades to students but will adjust teacher comments to provide a better insight on how a student is doing.

Principal Clark Wight told Gareth Parker on Mornings it’s about ensuring children are doing more than just learning facts to pass a test.
