Peter Matera, originally inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2006, was last night elevated to Legend Status.

Matera reflected on his playing style, saying: “If I kicked the ball into the forward line and forwards missed it or didn’t mark it I thought well you’re not getting it the next time I’m going to go myself,’
