The State Government is up to three years behind schedule on a commitment for Rottnest Island “to go green” with confirmation that its four-year time frame for energy and water upgrades has blown out.

Curtin University Professor of Sustainability Peter Newman joined Perth Live to discuss concerns that the State Government is falling behind on its commitment to make Rottnest Island “to go green.”

“This is something that Western Australians should do well, because we’ve got a lot of sun,” Newman said.
