The State government promised during the State election to put $89 million towards upgrades for air conditioning at 45 schools but estimates have shown only half of that funding has been budgeted for this year.

Shadow Education Minister Liam Staltari spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said the State government made a lot of “fanfare” before the election regarding the initiative, but a little under half of that money is all that’s in the current State budget.
