Local roads in Perth’s inner city suburbs including South Perth and Subiaco are one step closer to becoming safer with a proposed drop in speed limit from 50km/h to 40km/h.

City of Vincent CEO and Perth Inner City Group chairman David MacLennan spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said 40km/h was an “exponentially safer speed” for local residents, pedestrians and cyclists.
