The Federal and State Government have announced $16 million in joint funding to deliver better mobile coverage along highways and major roads in WA. It’s part of the $50 million Regional Roads Australia Mobile Program.

Boyd Brown, Regional Manager for Telstra, spoke to 6PR Afternoons host Julie-anne Sprague on the announcement.

“They’re looking to get it underway as soon as possible, I think it’s pretty exciting,” he said.
