Karl and Gena

One of Australia’s favourite bush poets, Bill “Swampy” Marsh has built a career un exploring the further-flung areas of the country.

“We’ve got stories from Ballidu, Latham, Nannine, New Norcia, Rowena, Three Springs – that’s where the fella jumped on the counter of the Commercial Hotel with a  lawnmower after they won the Grand Final,” Swampy said.

“I think most pubs have their characters within them, and those stories make it worth driving so far out top interview them.”
