Indigenous voice to Parliament passes Senate cementing Voice referendum

Jamie Burnett

Australians will vote on an Indigenous Voice to parliament in a referendum this year after the Senate passed the bill 52-19.

Yes 23 Campaign Director Dean Parkin spoke to Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live.

“A foundation for the real change is by involving indigenous peoples in those decisions that affect their lives. That’s what the voice is about,” Mr Parkin said.
