The man who knew no fear

He is described as the Australian equivalent of The Red Baron and his obituary published in the Herald in 1917 described First World War Flight Commander Alfred Youdale as “he knew not fear”.

Alfred was one of only nine airmen to receive the Military Cross and two bars.
