The Battle of St Quentin Canal

On the 29th September 1918 the battle of St Quentin Canal began.  It was a pivotal battle of WW1 that involved Australian, American and British Forces as a combined force against the German Siefried Stellung of the Hindenburg Line. This resulted in the first full breach of the Hindenburg Line under the command of Australian General Sir John Monash.
