The battle of Kokoda
In this military history segment with Jay Walsh he looks at the battle of Kokoda.
In the rugged mountains of Papua New Guinea 625 Australians were killed, and more than 1500 injured in what is described as the most significant battle fought by Australians during WW2. The Australians fought in appalling conditions to repel a Japanese invasion force and finally proved victorious.
