Australian Campaign at Guadalcanal

Often overshadowed by the fighting on the Kokoda Trail, Australian troops played key roles in the Guadalcanal campaign to prevent the Japanese from gaining control of communication and supply routes between Australia and the US in 1942 and early 1943.
