Incredible footage has emerged of ex-racing horse Cruze and his rider Derek frolicking with a large pod of dolphins at Forrest Beach near Capel.

Rider Derek told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont that the dolphins swam alongside him and his horse for about 2km down the beach, and the horse’s excitement was clear: “He loved it, you could just feel him and see that he was excited and happy and started to canter through the water,” he said.
