HELPFUL TIPS AND TRICKS

There’s plenty of room on the foreshore to experience Skyworks up close, and getting in and out doesn’t have to be a hassle. To make the most of the events above, plan your journey before you head into the city to celebrate.

The City of Perth is offering three hours of free parking on weekends and public holidays. This includes the below areas:

– Street parking along Street Parking along Hay and Murray Streets either side of the mall from Milligan Street to Victoria Avenue.

– City of Perth Parking (CPP) His Majesty’s, Cultural Centre and Pier Street carparks.

It’s also important to remember that some road closures can cause delays when exiting car parks, for information check out visitperth.com.au/skyworks, download the CPP mobile app or call 1300 889 613 to prevent running into any unnecessary delays.

For those heading in on public transport, Transperth will be putting on plenty of additional trains and buses to get you there and back. For the latest information before you travel, head to Transperth’s Journey Planner – transperth.wa.gov.au/journey-planner

BUSHFIRE RELIEF

Come together in the spirit of Australia Day to not only celebrate our city, but to show support and raise money for our fellow Australians in bushfire affected areas.

There will be City of Perth fundraising volunteers roving throughout the event collecting donations via EFTPOS and cash. Volunteers will be accepting donations between 3pm and 8pm across Skyworks venues: Langley Park, Supreme Court Gardens, Perth Foreshore and Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth.

Or, you can make a donation to the Australian Red Cross online via this fundraising page.

Let’s come together as a community and support our fellow Australians.
