WA farms in foreign hands

Farmers are becoming concerned at the rate at which overseas interests, lead by China, are buying up WA's prime and future farmland. Paul Murray spoke to two groups regarding the issue that both say that the all levels of government seem to be asleep at the wheel.

Campaigning “to get agriculture high on the menu of all political parties and on the lips of every Australian” She says farmers are selling their properties to China and other countries - because they simply can’t make a living on the land any more.

Very concerned by yesterday’s announcement that Gourmet Food Holdings, which owns the iconic Aussie brand Rosella, has gone into receivership.
