The Way We Were: Kambalda

The township of Kambalda was established in the mid 1960's to house workers and provide facilities for Australia's first nickel mine. But there had been a previous Kambalda, on the same site, 60 years earlier during the initial 1890's gold rush.

Long time resident, historian and former Shire President Billie Ingham spoke with Steve Gordon on The Way We Were about Kambalda's colourful history.
