Brendon Weselman: Profile

Born and Bred in Perth, Brendon has worked in Radio and television virtually his entire career.

As young lad of only 17, he did his first shift on commercial radio at 6WB in Katanning in 1979. He spent many years working at country radio stations before joining Channel 7 in 1988.

A family man with two daughters and a grand daughter, he is passionate about community, about people and about Radio.

He and his wife love to escape in their caravan to explore new places and to meet new people.

He has said that working at 6PR is so far the pinnacle of his career. 6PR is the only radio station his mum would listen to - she often considered the station her best friend. Sadly, his Mum never got to hear him on the station as she passed away a short time before he uttered his first words on 6PR.
