The Property Council has called for an end to the anti-density mindset amid a new report showing Perth is losing the infill battle.

The launch of a YIMBY campaign aims to promote a ‘Yes In My Backyard’ attitude encouraging western Australian’s to voice their housing needs amid Perth’s housing crisis.

Property Council WA interim executive director Emily Young told Julie-Anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons that “there is a huge amount of opportunity.”

“84 per cent of respondents think we should be doing more in field development in our suburbs” Ms Young said.
