System failed paedophile victim

Fears over proximity to sex offender

The Morning program has questioned the police department over the handling of a convicted paedophile who was allowed to move to within 230 meters of his teenage victim. Paul Murray released police correspondence which admits they lost track of the sex offender.

  • Good to see some action is now being taken. His name and photo should be released to the public just like any other criminal on the run, that way there is a better chance to catch him. He may already be living in some other unsuspecting persons home. Well done 6pr for putting "Julies" story to air and getting some action for her. Hopefully this rock spider will be caught and this poor family can try and get on with their lives in peace. As always, it seems the criminals have it better than the victims.
