  • Don't the employees of Western Power get their electricity for free, as part of their employment contracts? Will they be required to have the smart meters also?

  • Himmm!!! Other side of the coin - Smart meters, when its hot and the power usage is high in your area WP will be able to trip your A/C circuit breaker to off, forget cycling thats a soft way of getting it in the system. They save while you cook, who cares what they do in other countries, its what done here that counts. WA Parliment don't run their A/V at 24, Pollies complained that it was too hot! "Do as I say, not as I do". Where is the re-invested profit going if it's not spent on the network? Should be a Public utiliy not a Corperation.
