Steve Mills has taken it upon himself to create the definitive list of music's most influential bands and performers.

Millsy's A-Z list is just like the AFL's All Australian team announcement, It's one person's opinion, it has people out of position and no-one else agrees with it.

What ever the case it's sure to raise an eyebrow and debate.

Steve Mills announces entries in to his list of 'Music's Most Influential' each morning between 5 and 5.30.

If you missed the latest announcement the list to date is below.

Feel free to comment on the list and leave your alternates for Steve to ponder.

Blog comments Your Say

  • May I add Warren Zevon to the list? You know him, "Werewolves of London"?
I didn't, until my nephew executed exigenacy plan "Z" last year. One of his favourite pieces was "Keep Me in Your Heart a While".
Now I'm a fan of Mr Zevon. Two witty people together for ever playing their observations.
Ah, well, in the end "Life'll Kill Ya".

  • Sorry Mr Mills...
You said that Paul McCartney couldn't come under M as he'd be classed under The Beatles - so what happened to Lennon (under L) - maybe you can now move Led Zepplin there...
Still reckon you've got some plonkers in there..
    Comments please...
