Perth teenager Alysha Devereux has recorded a video highlighting what she believes to be a lack of mental health services in WA. The video was recorded just before the 17-year-old tried to take her own life. Howard Sattler spoke with Minister for Mental Health Helen Morton.

  • i use to work for the mental health dept and believe me the system is in a disugusting turmoil and from my experience
    I suffer from traumatic stress disorder and have most my life today i need help and i have done all the correct procedures and still i get turned away who is there out there to help me and the saddest part i been working in the health industry for over 35 years ..and noone wants to hear my side of the story

  • Helen Morton, poor thing, obviously got the scrappy thing at the bottom of the bag of ministerial portfolios when Colin Barnett and his band of merry men (and I mean men)came into power.
    Now, wouldn't that be enough to make a woman tear her hair out and be restrained in a straight-jacket and thrown into a padded cell?!
