Joe Hockey's pension problems

Federal Treasurer Joe Hockey looks certain to raise the pension age to 70. Is that a smart idea?

Could raising the pension eligibility age to 70 sentence the Abbott government to a single term in office? Steve and Basil spoke to Leanne Kutcher from Sydney University's School of Business who says a blanket rise in the pension age will anger a lot of voters.

    politics. I'm looking for a political group working on these issues.

  • Joe Hockey wants everybody to tighten there belts to bring the budget down , well what about the Politian's tightening there belts the way they travel overseas 1st class and all there other perks they get lets cut some of those to get the budget back in the black ?? I doubt it there be jumping up and down . Just for curiosity how much does it cost the tax a year to keep Joe Hocky in his current job airfares accommodation and all the the other perks lets see how much it costs us ? the robbing b....ards.
