The law is now being dispensed with fear and with favour. We are not supposed to complain about this.

To say it isn't racist is racism in itself. Surely racism is differentiating between races? The same rules must apply to everyone in this country, regardless of what colour they may be.
Take him to court and make make an example of him. Thoughtless, brainless moron!

Yeah, right, go to a Public Hospital if you are a western woman and have the misfortune to encounter a male and obviously Islamic doctor...the contempt is palpable. Especially if they are "specialists".
I've recently had this experience (even though signing on the dotted line as a private patient).
I never clapped eyes on this person in all the four days I was there and I'm sorry for the emergency doctors, nurses, staff and public patients who won't have their conditions improved by my private health fund payments while this "man of mystery" toddles off with his contempt and his grubby ignorant hand clenched firmly on his wallet.
Why do I have to be "nice", why do I have to be "polite", "tolerant" or "sensitive" to those who fail to live in Rome as Romans? I will not be treated with contempt by what I call "in-comers". Unless one knows and appreciates the lay of the land, I think it best to keep ones nasty little ignorances to oneself.
So, I'm not entering into the aboriginal debate because, too late, I'm beginning to understand how they feel.Dellas Thursday 9 February, 2012 - 3:09 PM -
Of course it is racist!! If the shoe was on the other foot there would be a huge outcry... I am so sick of their double standards!!! If it is ok for them to say it then they should be ok with it being said to them .. hmmph as if ...and pigs might fly!! grow up and be truelly equal, racism is racism from whichever side of the fence it is hurled from.

Growing up in the Pilbara these are the standard "non-racist" comments I have been accustomed to for the last couple of decades and I'd be surprised to find it has ever been any different. I dont discriminate by a persons ethnic background and have made friends with people of all races including indigenous Australians. As witnessed in this case there are too many of them who are allowed to get away with this type of behavior and far worse which damages those who lead more appropriate lives. Why are these people not held to account for their actions in the same way other people are? Why are handouts, apologies, welfare, shortcuts and endless support not enough. These type of indigenous australians need a reality check and I empathise with their brothers and sisters who they give a bad name.
