Grow up! Stop booing Judd

Posted by: Paul Entwistle | 15 June, 2012 - 10:10 AM
Five years on and Eagles fans still hate Judd for leaving...and don't they let him know it.

Tim Gossage has accused the West Coast faithful of being back-water supporters for booing ex Eagle turned Carlton captain Chris Judd. Gossage told Rob Broadfield that Eagles fans need to grow up and can't understand why they boo champions.

  • C'mon Cheryl, tell me what was so bad about Judd leaving, the team wasn't in the doldrums and his name never once came up amongst the offenders involved in the drug scandal that plagued the club and he reluctantly took the captaincy when Cousins imploded.
Juddy gave his all for WC and it was always clear he was going to leave the club rather than be a one team player.
Maybe you should stay in Phuket and help spread the ugly Australian image a bit more.

  • Hi Karl,

We are holidaying in Phuket and booed that traitor Judd all the way from here.

It was the way he left that sticks in the mind.

I was also at the celebrations at punt road in 06, no way was Jonesy booed.

    Cheryl.
