Foul called on free range facts

Posted by: Paul Entwistle | 5 April, 2012 - 12:50 PM
Chicken farmers are accusing Animals Australia of misleadsing the public on free range facts.

Animals Australia is being accused of using loose facts and over emotive stories to mislead the public on caged eggs compared to free range. Paul Murray spoke to Managing Director of the Australian Egg Corporation, James Kellaway.

Blog comments Your Say

  • What came first: the free range egg or the caged egg?
I simply can't sleep at night due to pondering the quality of life of a chook.
This little conundrum about chickens is such a metaphore for our hum-drum lives, don't cha thunk?
Has anyone ever considered the chicken and female emancipation?
Roosters don't lay eggs, do they?
Well, high on my hit-list of revenge is that for every man who's ever shot off their big mouth about birth, motherhood, contraception et el, there'll be one born as a chicken, giving birth every single day, in a cage.
So, when did men become so interested in chooks? You treat women like battery hens every day you draw breathe, so shut the bulldust.
Men,...honestly. Go buy a V8, or a lawnmower or something like that to define yourselves and leave us chickens alone.
