Commission needs power

Abuse survivors want the Royal Commission into child abuse to have intrusive, extensive and broad powers.

Child abuse victims and lawyers want the Royal Commission into institutionalised child abuse to have powers to dig deeply, intrusively and broadly into allegations of child abuse. Paul Murray spoke to survivor network representative Nicky Davis and Hayden Stephens from Slater and Gordon.

Blog comments Your Say

  • I was appauled as I drove to work this morning and voyeuristically tuned into 6pr to hear Paul Murray ranting about the Royal Commission into CSA.
To criticsise the concept of a Government sponsored investigation into this very dark side of our society ought to be applauded from all ramparts of society. Especially the media.
6PR's partisan rhetoric portrays it as non-journalisic and lacking in basic ethics to promote a political adgenda at all costs. Shame you you Paul Murray. You sicken me to my stomach!
