Cable officially a 'Legend'

Barry Cable has been elevated to 'Legend' status by the AFL last night.

The AFL has confirmed what WA footy fans already knew. Barry Cable is a ‘Legend’ of football. Steve Mills spoke to Barry about his new title and a career that saw him bag 5 premierships, play 382 games, kick 408 goals and Sandover medals.

    With his dedication he was well ahead of his time in WA and took handballing and drop kicking to another level.

    Should have been recognised as a legend, well before now.
    Good to see that Mal Atwell was there to see Barry receive this honour.
