Bullying scars remain
Seb Sharp's childhood and school life was dominated by intense and sustained bullying. He tells Jason Jordan the effects have remained with him into his adult life.

Excellent interview Jason, with Seb Sharp, and thank you to Seb for sharing such a personal experience. Bullying is still such a huge issue in schools and it really should be nipped in the bud at Junior school, but sadly it isn't, teachers still seem to put it into the 'too hard basket'. I suspect it's because their hands are tied as to exactly what they can do. I urge people like Seb and Radio Announcers like Jason to help stop bullying, make it news, suggest how and what we should do to protect the kids that are being bullied.
Make it so that it is a big issue and something HAS to be done about the bullies, kids are committing suicide because of bullying, how can we all do something together to help stop this??.....Susan Anwyn Tuesday 4 October, 2011 - 9:56 AM -
It's really good to hear an adult talk about the lasting effects of bullying. It's easy to dismiss a child and say they'll get over it, but when you've gone through torment your entire life you do carry the scars well into adulthood, and it can affect every part of your life. I'm glad to see this side of the issue explored, and both the presenter and the guest did an excellent job :)
