ADDENDUM TO 882 6PR’s Standard Terms and Conditions
‘$1000 Minute’
PROMOTION from Monday 9 May 2011
The following addendum document stipulates the 882 6PR competition rules for all participants and applies specifically to 6PR’s “$1000 Minute” Competition.
HOW TO ENTER
To be eligible to enter the Promotion, entrants must:
a) Be the nominated caller on the 882 6PR competition line
(922 11 882) when prompted by a 6PR announcer.
b) Entry is only open to residents of Western Australia.
c) 882 6PR’s Standard terms and Conditions Apply.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS – CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. The competition runs at approximately 7:45am weekdays
on 882am 6PR.
2. Duration of promotion is from Monday 9 May 2011.
3. Competition entry requirements are name, address, telephone
number, nominated account name and amount due and no
contestant may have won a competition on 6PR for 60 (sixty)
days prior to entry.
4. The entrants must be the nominated caller and call the station
when prompted by the announcer.
5. The entrant will then be asked ten trivia questions consecutively
and the one minute stop clock starts after the first question
has been asked.
6. If the entrant gets a question incorrect the announcer will continue
to ask the next question.
7. If the entrant decides to pass on a question, the announcer will
continue to ask the next question.
8. Every question the entrant gets correct, they will win $10 and
if all ten questions are complete and correct within the one minute
time frame the winner will win a total of $1000.
9. If all ten questions have been asked within the one minute time
frame and there is time remaining the announcer will go back to
any questions the entrant got incorrect or passed on, and they
will ask the entrant these questions again if time allows.
10. If the entrant did not complete all ten questions correctly in the one
minute time frame, they will receive $10 for every correct answer.
11. If the entrant gets all ten questions correct within the one minute
time frame, they will win $1000.
12. Fairfax Media will arrange a direct bank deposit or issue a cheque
for the amount made payable all winners.
13. The prize money is not transferable.
14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that
may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice
should be sought.
15. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of
being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason
beyond the reasonable control of Promoter, Promoter reserves the
right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
(a) to disqualify any entrant; or
(b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority,
to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as
appropriate.
